Overview

Windust (WA8362) is a awned, common, soft white winter wheat with white chaff color.  It is targeted to the low rainfall production regions of the state of Washington.  It has high grain yield, excellent emergence from deep planting, average heading date, taller plant height, and good end-use quality.  Windust has adult plant resistance to stripe rust and is tolerant to eyespot foot rot.
