Bush

Overview

Bush (experimental designation WA8351) soft white spring wheat is broadly adapted to dryland spring wheat production areas across Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Heading/maturity and height are medium with acceptable straw strength. Bush has very good adult stripe rust resistance due to a combination of resistance genes, has aluminum tolerance, Hessian fly resistance, high test weight, and ranks in the top yield group in all precipitation zones in WSU variety trials from 2022-2023. End-use quality is excellent with good grain, milling and soft wheat quality attributes.
